It is with heavy and broken hearts that we announce that our friend, our protector, our baby,

Harley Bear Hankins went for his last car ride on sat. March 23/19.

Harley enjoyed the sunny day laying on the front step and patrolling the lot after 5 pm for those pesky cats. He always knew when it was 5:00pm & wondered why the gate wasn’t closed.

He always thought he had to grumble at each and every customer and once acknowledged he stop grumbling. Harley was always thankful to receive a cookie from anyone who was so inclined.

He had a special relationship with Kenny the Loomis driver. He taught Kenny that just because a dog sounds grumpy doesn’t mean that they are.

Harley always worked hard at ensuring that our bowls were licked clean and that there was no food on the floors. It was his way of contributing to the work load here.

We are deeply grateful to Central Victoria Veterinary hospital for their love & care when it mattered most. We also thank the Mill Bay veterinary Hospital for all the years of love and medical attention. We also want to acknowledge and thank Trupanion for supporting us after all these years.

The staff at Dean’s Marine will miss you on a daily basis.

We have no idea how to explain to Cohen where you have gone. He will always look for you.

Run free our friend,

thanks for the love and laughter you gave us all.
